William Nugent

Biography

Willam E. Nugent, 64, of Walker Road died February 7, 2011. Born in Holyoke, MA to the late Earle and Doris Nugent, he served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam era. Bill worked for many years at Stadyane Corporation in Windsor, Ct as a machine supervisor and most recently at Burd Manufacturing in East Longmeadow. Bill was an owner and driver of race cars and raced at many area tracks. He also showed and bred quarter horses.

William leaves his loving wife of 41 years Susan A. (Warren) Nugent; two sons Michael Nugent and his wife Jill, and Matthew Nugent; three brothers Robert Nugent and his wife Nancy, Dennis Nugent, Patrick Nugent and his wife Cindy; a sister Ann Robinson and her husband Mike; several nieces and nephews and his "Princes" Molly, his dog. He was predeceased by two brothers Paul and James.

Military Honors will be held Friday, February 11, 2011 at 2pm in the Chapel at the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. There are no visiting hours. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
