William H Leab, Jr

Ludlow-William H. Leab Jr., 63, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024 in Worcester. Bill was born in Palmer to William H. and Joanne (Grant) Leab Sr., March 14, 1961. He grew up in Monson and was a graduate of Monson High School class of 1980. Bill worked for many years at Collins Aerospace in Windsor Locks, CT as a repair technician.

Bill enjoyed, fishing, hunting, going to the beach, camping, car shows, NASCAR, and seeking out tag sales. He could often be found tinkering, woodworking and listening to just about any type of music especially classic rock, country and the 70’s.

Bill leaves his family to cherish his memory, his children, Joseph Garbiel of Belchertown, Jeannine Bourdeau and her husband Christian of Belchertown, Phillip Leab and his wife Jaime of Shutesbury, Monique Desroches and her husband Aaron of Belchertown, Garrett Leab and Gavin Leab both of Ludlow; grandchildren, Jordan, Jacob, Olivia, Emma and Payton; his father, William H. Leab Sr. of Belchertown; sisters, Barbara Cote and her husband, Bernard of Deland, FL, Christine Ellithorpe and her husband, Mark of Bondsville and Jennifer Laisure and her husband William of Monson, as well as many nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his mother, Joanne Leab in 2013 and his sister, Kimberly Norton in 1992.

 A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
