W. Scott "Grizz" Hill, 59, died peacefully October 14, 2009. Born in Upland, PA to Charles E. and Virginia M. (Willey) Hill, he has lived in Monson for many years. Scott was a graduate of Huron College and operated S&H Escort Service a trucking transportation company for many years. He enjoyed fishing and numerous sports. In his younger years, Grizz was an accomplished athlete.
Scott was predeceased by his beloved wife Helen (Soltys) Hill and his father Charles E. Hill. He leaves his mother Virginia Hill of Monson; his brother, Guy Hill of Monson, his sister Cheryl Bennett of New Jersey; niece Kate; nephews Trenton and Alex; step-children Debbie Ablicki and her husband Tom, Dan Murphy and his wife April, Mark Murphy and his companion Maria; step grandchildren Jon, Jenn, Max and Mason and many friends.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 10am in St. Anne's Cemetery in the Three Rivers section of Palmer. Lombard Funeral Home of Monson has been entrusted with the arrangements.
