Theresa M. Rondeau
1916-2008
Monson-Theresa M. (Quenneville) Rondeau, 91, of Town Farm Road died, Sunday September 14, 2008 surrounded by her family. Born in Holyoke to the late Evangelist and Angeline Quenneville she was the youngest of 16 children. Theresa was a graduate of Holyoke High School and resided in Chicopee Falls. She retired from the Van Norman Company of Springfield in 1972 after thirty years of service. She then moved to Orlando, Florida where she resided for sixteen years. Upon her return to Massachusetts she made her home with her daughter in Monson. While in Florida she was a member of the St. James Cathedral Choir in Orlando. She was a communicant of St. Patrickâs Church in Monson and a member of the Monson Senior Center. Theresa was predeceased by her husband Ernest L. Rondeau in 1987. She leaves her daughter June Chalue and her husband Dan of Monson and grandchildren Laura Murphy of Ohio, Daniel Chalue who is deployed on the USS Iwo Jima and Karen Chalue of Monson; two step sons Richard Rondeau of PA and Victor Rondeau of TN. Theresa was also predeceased by a stepson Ernest Rondeau and her fifteen siblings. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 9:15am from Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Patrickâs Church and burial at Bethany Cemetery all in Monson. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday September 16 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the funeral home.
