Teresa M. Pelissier

Monson-Teresa M. "Tess" (Smith) Pelissier, 75, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011, surrounded by family. Tess was born January 10, 1936 in London, England to the late Lester and Mary Ellen (Kelly) Smith. She has been a resident of Monson since 1968. Tess was the former Director of Monson Summer Theater. She was instrumental in that role from 1969-2009. Tess also organized other youth activities prior to Monson Summer Theater including the youth Christmas choir at St. Patrick's Church. She was an avid reader and loved to garden. Tess enjoyed traveling and spending the winter months at her home in Wildwood, Florida.
Tess was predeceased by her husband Marcel "Mike" Pelissier in 1996. She leaves their children, Marc Pelissier and his wife Linda of Palmer, Kevin Pelissier and Justin Pelissier both of Monson and Lizette Grinaski and her husband Tim of Ellington, CT, eleven grandchildren; Eric, Kevin, Kyle, Erin, Chloe, Michael, Ian, Brandyn, Janna, Luc and Bella; many nieces, nephews and friends.
