Shirley A (Beaulieu) Conners

Monson-Shirley A. (Beaulieu) Conners, 88, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.  Shirley was born April 22, 1934, to the late Leo E. and M. Rose (Suprenant) Beaulieu.  She was a graduate of Monson High School and worked for American Standard, Federal Paperboard and after many years, retired from the Monson School system as a Speech and Language Aide. Shirley was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Monson and a member of the MA Teacher Association. Her greatest joy in life came from spending time with her family. Shirley loved watching her grandchildren grow up and enjoyed all their dance recitals, sporting events and motorcycle races. Shirley also loved to travel, visit casinos, especially Las Vegas and cherished her many trips to Florida during the winter. She enjoyed playing cards with her weekly ladies card group and Dominos with friends and family.

Shirley was predeceased by her loving husband, Walter J. Conners in 1993. She leaves her son, Brian D. Conners and his wife Susan of Hampden; her daughter, Karen Conners-Peck and her husband Glen of Monson; her companion, Robert Bready of Monson; a brother, Thomas Beaulieu and his wife Joan of Monson; sister in-law, Mary Beaulieu of Florida; six grandchildren, Kathryn Preuss and her husband Jason, Jordyn Peck and her companion Michael Corcoran, Jamie Daly and her husband Patrick, Ethan Peck and his companion Natasha Winter, Brandon Conners, and Reese Conners; three great grandchildren who were the light of her life; Harper and Asher Preuss and Brandon Conners.  Shirley was predeceased by her sister, Marie Sapelli and her brother, Leo Beaulieu.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 with family and friends gathering at the funeral home at 10 am to form a funeral procession to St. Patrick's Church in Monson for Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 am. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery also in Monson.
