Sharon D. Edens

1940-2014


Monson-Sharon D. (Coolong) Edens, 73, died Thursday, March 27, 2014. Born in Palmer to the late Albert and Thelma (Smith) Coolong, Sharon was a resident of Monson for many years. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed word seek puzzles to pass the time. Over the years she enjoyed traveling , starting with her trip to Spain and being married at the Rock of Gibralter. She and her husband Jobe traveled out west and lived in South Dakota for several years.


Sharon leaves her loving husband of 52 years Jobe B. Edens, two sisters Judith C. DaDalt and her husband Alfred of Stafford Springs, CT and Charlene Coolong of Ware; a niece Lynn A. DaDalt of Stafford Springs, CT, nephew John DaDalt of Stafford Springs, Ct and nephew Anthony M. DaDalt and his wife Sarah of Enfield, Ct and many cousins.



Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson, MA 01057. A visiting hour will be held from 10-11am with a funeral service at 11am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Monson. .
