Monson-Rosalie H. (Skomro) Pixton, 92, died Thursday, March 5, 2015. Rosalie was born, May 9, 1922 to the late Louis and Sophie (Sziemba) Skomro and she has been a resident of Monson for many years. Rosalie was a comunicant of St. Patrick's Church in Monson. She loved taking care of her home and cooking for family.
Rosalie was pre deceased by her husband Roland L. Pixton : her daughter, Sheila Cannon: her brothers Louis, Stanley, Chester and Theodore. She leaves a sister, Stephanie Hoena of Chicopee; a brother Frank Skomro of Monson and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. in Monson. A visiting hour will begin at 9:30 in the funeral home. Liturgy of Christian burial will be held at 11am in St. Patrick's Church in Monson with burial at Bethany Cemetery.
