Robert Webber, Sr

Robert E. Webber, Sr., 71, of Wales Rd. died Saturday, February 19, 2011 surrounded by the love of family. Born June 7, 1939 in Springfield to the late Alexander and Jennie (Chalero) Webber he was a graduate of West Springfield High School and has live in Monson for 48 years. Bob had been in the grocery business his entire life. He retired after more than 25 years of owning a Pepperidge Farm, bread franchise and distributing in the local Springfield area. He was a member of the Western MA Relic Softball League and coached youth hockey in Ludlow. Bob also enjoyed camping, fishing, the outdoors and was a New England Sports enthusiast. He had a love for flying, unfortunately because of his failing health he was unable to obtain a pilots license.

Robert will be missed by his wife Irene A.(Scarfe) Webber; their children,Cynthia Webber of Monson, Robert E. Webber Jr and Isolde Valletta of Indian Orchard; a brother Ralph Webber and his wife Margaret of Hampden. Bob was predeceased by his father, Alexander J. Webber; mother, Jennie Webber/Taylor and a brother Alexander J. Webber Jr.
