Robert Tucker

Robert L. Tucker, 53, a lifelong resident of Monson, died Tuesday, March 8, 2011, surrounded by the love of family. Born in Springfield to the late George A. and Lorraine A. (Malo) Tucker. Bob was a graduate of Monson High School class of 1975 and Westfield State College class of 1979, he currently was a sales engineer for Compumachine. Bob contributed his time and energy to many organizations and committees including the Monson Scholarship Committee, Monson Park & Recreation Commission, where he also served for a time as Chairman, a longtime member of the Monson Athletic Boosters Association, member of the Monson High School Athletic Hall of Fame Committee, past member of the school council-Monson High School, long-time Monson High School girl's and boy's assistant basketball coach, and assistant coach for his son's CYO basketball team. Bob also attended Bethlehem Baptist Church in Hampden and St. Patrick's Church in Monson.
Bob leaves his wife Paula J. (Hatch) Tucker and their children Brian A.(age10) and Samantha A.(age 4) at home. He also leaves his brother David Tucker and his wife Maureen of Plymouth and his nephews Matthew and John Tucker. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Margaret Ann Tucker.
