Robert Rogers

Robert L. Rogers, 70, died Monday, March 15, 2010 at Wing Memorial Hospital. Born in Springfield, July 21, 1939 to the late James B. and Anna (Smith) Rogers of Hampden, he was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School Class of 1957 and has been a lifelong area resident. Robert was a pressman at Turley Publications for more than 20 years. He was a longtime member of the Ludlow Lodge of Elks,enjoyed New England sports teams and loved celebrating St. Patrick's Day. Robert had a tremendous love for family, was a great listener and enjoyed a solid debate in politics.

"Pop" leaves his children Brad, Pamela and Bobby; his grandchildren Tyler, Adeline and Cassidy as well as a niece and several nephews. He was predeceased by his brother James Rogers in 2000.

A private celebration of Roberts life will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ludlow Lodge of Elks Youth Programs. Lombard Funeral Home of Monson has been entrusted with the arrangements.
