Biography

Wales-Robert Carl Chrabascz, 63, of Mt.Hitchcock Rd., died Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at his home after a long battle with diabetes and complications . Born in Ware, MA May 12, 1948 to the late Frank and Nancy (Kozik) Chrabascz he was a graduate of Ware High School and received his BA degree in History from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH. Bob worked for over 24 years at Wing Memorial Hospital in the Billing Department. He was a little league baseball coach and basketball coach while his children were young. Bob enjoyed watching the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. His sense of humor will be missed.

Robert leaves his wife of 34 years Ann T. (Brothers) Chrabascz. Their two children Mark Chrabascz and his wife Sarah (Carroll) of South Deerfield and Robyn Chrabascz and her companion Charles Kevin Gregory of Baltimore, MD; a granddaughter Ella Marie Gregory; a brother Francis Chrabascz and his wife Reinette of Ware; Mother in-law, Phyllis Brothers of Wales; brother in-laws, David Brothers and his wife Lynn of Monson, Ronald Brothers of Wales and John Brothers and his wife Nancy of Conway, NH.

The family would like to thank American Renal in Chicopee especially Dr. Fares and Nurse Durinda for the care they gave Bob.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, May 18, 2012 from 5-8pm at Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson. A Graveside Service will be Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 11am at St. Mary's Cemetery in Ware. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Joslin Diabetes Center, One Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215.
