Robert E. Beaulieu, 75, of Flynt Ave., died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 surrounded by the love of family. Born in Palmer to the late Harold and Melvina (Proulx) Beaulieu he has been a life long resident of Monson. Robert was a graduate of Monson High School and Western New England College, he served in the US Army from 1957-1959. Bob retired from Monsanto as an Industrial Engineer in 1975 after working in both Springfield, MA and Bloomfield, CT. He was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, an avid Redsox fan and he enjoyed playing golf and cards.
Bob leaves his wife of 52 years Carol A. (Brouthers) Beaulieu, a son Robert E. Beaulieu the 2nd and his wife Ann Murphy-Beaulieu of Lockport, NY; daughters Kristen Beaulieu of Stafford Springs, CT, Carrie Boudreau and her husband Joseph of Ware, MA , Laurie Bedell and her husband William of East Longmeadow; daughter in-law Donna Beaulieu of Marshfield, MA; brothers Francis Beaulieu and his wife Barbara of Monson, Neil Beaulieu and his wife Leann of Enfield, CT; twelve grandchildren and two great grandsons. Bob was predeceased by a son Glen D. Beaulieu in 1997.
