Biography

Monson- Randy E. Raymond, 55, died Wednesday June 11, 2014. Randy was born April 1, 1959 in Morrisville, VT, and was a graduate of Lake Region Union High School in Orleans, VT. He has lived in Monson for many years and was self employed, operating RER Drywall. Randy had a love of history and especially loved studying the Civil War and the battle at Gettysburg. He enjoyed different genres of music, hockey and Disney.


Randy leaves his wife, Melissa (Harrison) Raymond; and three children, Patrick E. Raymond and Jeremy S. Raymond, Benji (Sara) Raymond; granddaughter Lyla Grace Raymond and her mother Kerry McCarthy, all of Monson; his mother Eleanor Ahlers of Vermont; his father Kenneth Raymond and his wife Betty of Monson; sisters, Lisa Harriman and her husband Gary, Hope Sturtevant and her husband Lee all of VT, Robin Rollins and her husband Michael of NH and Faith Raymond of CT, and many nieces and nephews. Randy was predeceased by his brothers Paul Raymond and George Raymond, and step-father Eugene Ahlers.


Services will be held Monday, June 16, 2014 at Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson. Visiting hours will be held from 4-6pm. A memorial service will conclude the visiting hours at 6pm in the funeral home.
