Biography

Phyllis R. (Bradway) Noble Doser, 95, formerly of Monson, MA and Clearwater, FL passed away on January 6, 2013 at Quaboag on the Common in W. Brookfield, MA.
Born on October 29, 1917, Phyllis was the daughter of Christina (Lawson) and Harrison Bradway. She lived in Monson for many years and then moved to Clearwater/Dunedin, Florida. Phyllis loved the warmth of the Florida sun where she could enjoy combing the beaches for shells, sharks teeth and beach glass. She loved "Honeymoon Park" where she became the activities coordinator and developed much needed programs for the residents of the park. She and her husband Ced (Elwood) loved to play shuffleboard and became quite good at this sport. Her other pastimes included camping, crocheting, card games, jigsaw puzzles, letter writing, dominoes, and many visits and phone conversations with family and friends. She also loved animals and entertaining family and friends.
Phyllis is survived by Joyce and John Ratcliffe of Englewood, FL, Earl and Natalie Noble of Palmer, MA, Bruce and Cathie Noble of Westminster, MD, Cheryl and David Reasner of Indianapolis, IN and daughter-in-law Carolyn Noble of Monson, MA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and her brother Carl and Dottie Bradway of Kansas.
Predeceased by her is her husband's Elwood Noble and Richard Doser, son Richard Noble of Monson, MA and great grandson Nicholas Xiarhos who served in the Marines Corps and was KIA in 2009.
A memorial service will take place at a time for family at a later date.
