Peter J. Lloyd Jr.

 Monson- Peter J. Lloyd, Jr, 55, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024 surrounded by love of family. Peter was born in Ware, MA September 28, 1968 to Peter J. Lloyd Sr and Cynthia A (Tomaszewski) Lloyd. Pete grew up in Monson and was a graduate of Pathfinder Regional Technical High School, Class of 1987, electrical program. Pete went on to work for GML Construction in Indian Orchard as an Operating Engineer.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, hiking, being outside, walking the dogs. Pete also enjoyed gardening, taking care of his chickens, and splitting wood. He could fix just about anything and always had a project lined up to be worked on. Peter’s laugh could fill a room with joy and he had an unmatched sense of humor and quick wit. He also had a love for good food but wasn’t afraid to inform you it wasn’t up to par. 

Pete leaves his daughters, Autumn Lloyd and Tyler Lloyd of Monson, his wife Kimberly (Bedore) Lloyd of Monson, his father, Peter J. Lloyd, Sr and his step mother, Bonnie of Monson; a brother, Shawn Lloyd and his wife Leslie of Palmer; a sister, Deborah McNaughton and her husband Paul of Hampden; nieces and nephews; Brennan Casey, Shea and Tagan McNaughton, Tanisha Soya, Treyana Soya, Shawn Lloyd Jr, Desiree Hagen and great nephew, Gavin Gadreault. Peter is predeceased by his mother, Cynthia A. (Tomaszewski) Lloyd and his grandmother, Clothlida (Pobieglo) Tomaszewski, grandfather, Joseph Tomaszewski, grandfather, John Lloyd and grandmother Ruth (Holbrook) Lloyd.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St Monson, MA. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 5-8pm at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 23, 2024. Gathering at the funeral home beginning at 9am with a procession to Divine Mercy Parish in Three Rivers for a 10am Mass. Burial will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
