Pearl Wiesner

June 20, 1934 — February 3, 2013


Brimfield- Pearl D. (Gouck) Wiesner, 78, died Sunday, February 3, 2013 surrounded by the love of family. Born in Springfield June 20, 1934 to the late James and Williamina (Leslie) Gouck, she was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School and a resident of Monson for many years before moving to Brimfield. Pearl retired from the Monson Public Schools as the head cook after more than 12 years. She enjoyed wintering in Florida for over 25 years and belonged to the NAFCA camping club. Pearl loved to sew and quilt. She loved to make rag dolls and donate them to Shriners Hospital for Children as well as many other organizations. She enjoyed collecting Cat's Meow and antique dolls.

Pearl leaves her husband of 61 years, Daniel H. Wiesner and thier children; James Wiesner of Willmington, VT, Richard and Doreen Wiesner of Monson and Deborah and Kevin Saffer of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Lesley Heffron of Sanibel, FL and Betty Lesure and her husband Warren Kirkpatrick of Ashfield; five grandchildren, Carey Wiesner, Cassie Wiesner, Rachel Wiesner, Laura Saffer and Erica Saffer and eight great grandchildren. Pearl was predeceased by a granddaughter Kelly Wiesner and a great granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children 516 Carew St. Springfield, MA 01104.
