Pauline Hatch

Monson-Pauline J. Hatch, 92, died Monday, February 23, 2009. Born in Palmer to the late Herbert E. and Anna (Hopfe) Johnson, she was a graduate of Palmer High School and has been a resident of Monson for 60 years. Pauline was a member of the First Church of Monson, Congregational, a former member of the Mr. and Mrs. Club at First Church and a former member of the Monson Women’s Club. She was pre-deceased by her husband Howard L. Hatch Sr. in 1989. She leaves he sons Howard L. Hatch Jr. and his wife Theresa of Sun City Center, Florida and Paul B. Hatch and his wife Linda of Monson; a sister in-law Dorothy Gulbrandson of Monson and six grandchildren, Paula Tucker, Caroline Poulin, Timothy Hatch, Jill Best, David Hatch and Stewart Hatch and nine great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 2, 2009 at 10am in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson with a visiting hour beginning at 9am. Burial will be in the Spring at Hillside Cemetery.
