Patricia A (Wilbert) Yahn

February 18, 1947 — February 7, 2022

Patricia A. Yahn passed away peacefully at her home in Monson, MA on February 7th at the age of 74. Patti was the daughter of Stanley and Marie Wilbert and was born and raised in Long Branch, NJ. She graduated from Albertus Magnus College, New Haven, CT and received a Masters in Elementary Education from the University of Hawaii.

Patti and her husband Robert lived in Natick, MA for over 40 years prior to moving to Monson in 2020. She loved working in retail, getting to know her regular customers and serving their needs.  She was a store manager at Kenzie Kids in Chestnut Hill and at Kenzie in Wellesley for over 25 years.

Patti’s other passion was her extensive collection of various categories of antiques.  She looked forward to her favorite antique shows every year and, of course, the Brimfield Flea Market three times each summer. Patti was also excited to make regular trips to Maine to eat lobster rolls and search for that next treasure at the various antique shops she would frequent regularly.

She is survived by her husband of over fifty years, Robert B. Yahn; her son, Robert III and his wife Laura of Southbridge, MA; two sisters, Maryanne Owens of Mount Laurel, NJ and Janet Wallace of Long Branch and a brother, Timothy of Jackson, NJ.  She was predeceased by her brother S. John, also of Jackson.

No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Patricia’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association through their website, act.alz.org.
