Biography

Monson-Patricia M. (Lynch) Knight, 80, died Saturday at home, July 6, 2013 surrounded by the love of family. Born in Monson, September 7, 1932 to the late Walter and Alma (Johnson) Lynch she has been a life long resident. Pat was a graduate of Monson High School and was a teller at Valley Bank in Longmeadow for many years. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Monson, also a member of the Monson button club and Keep Museum, Monson Historical Society and the Monson 250th Committee.

Patricia leaves her husband Richard F. Knight, and their children, Richard "Skip" Knight of Lantana, Florida and Deborah S. DaSilva and her husband John of Ludlow; a sister Jacquie Hatton and her husband Bill of Monson, grandchildren Brian DaSilva and his wife Jenny of Garland, TX, Michael DaSilva of Cambridge, Kristin Conner and her husband Adam of Maryville, TN, Richard P. Knight of Maryville, TN and two great grandchildren Gabriel Conner and Luke DaSilva.

Funeral services will be Friday July 12. 2013 begining at 9:00am from Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Patrick's Church with burial to follow at Hillside Cemetery all in Monson. Visiting hours will be Thursday July 11th from 5-8pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Monson Fire Department Ambulance Fund PO Box 335 Monson, MA 01057.
