Monson-Patricia Ann (Kelley) Beaulieu, 84 passed away peacefully at home on August 17, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. Patricia was born in Palmer, October 4, 1939 to the late George J. and Lois (Gould) Kelley.
Patricia was a graduate of Monson High School, class of 1957 and continued her quest for learning throughout her life with a particular interest in American history. She was an avid reader, accomplished artist and craftsperson, passionate gardener, designer and a wonderful cook. Her many talents included, painting, drawing, sewing, embroidery, basket making, and gardening and she could rattle off Latin botanical names until her very last days.
“Trish” married Ron Beaulieu on September 27, 1958 and their commitment and love continued for nearly 66 years. They continued to learn and grow together, nurturing a wonderful family and 7 grandchildren, creating beautiful homes and experiences together, making many incredible friends, traveling, summering on Sebago Lake in Maine, wintering in Florida and always enjoying their shared love of music.
Patricia had many types of jobs in her lifetime including secretarial work at Mass Mutual, Monson Developmental Center and at Auvergne Perfume Co in East Longmeadow where her family recalls her returning from work smelling like an angel! She worked at her brother’s restaurant, Kelley’s and ran her own business, Colonial Variety in Monson for many years. Pat’s most beloved job though was working as an interpreter at Old Sturbridge Village where she combined her artistic talents and her love of history while also teaching others. Throughout her busy life, her priority was always her family whom she loved immensely and took wonderful care of.
Patricia leaves her loving husband and best friend, Ron Beaulieu, and their children; Suzanne Craig and her husband Adam of Falmouth MA, Andrew Beaulieu and his fiancée Theresa Bodak of Monson and Scott Beaulieu and his wife Kelly of Westport, MA; grandchildren, Andrew Beaulieu, Jason Craig, Jeremy Craig, Chad Beaulieu, Connor Beaulieu, Christopher Beaulieu and Luke Beaulieu; a brother, Michael Kelley of Monson as well as nieces, nephews, extended family members and many dear friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St, Monson, MA. Visiting hours will be held Monday, August 26, 2024 from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 27 at 11 am at Bethany Cemetery on Bethany Road in Monson. Please gather directly at the cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Pat’s honor may be made to the Monson Fire Department-Ambulance Fund PO Box 335 Monson, MA. The family is very grateful for their kind and compassionate care during the times the ambulance service was needed.
