Biography
Monson-Norma R.(Allen) Berube, 99, died Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Norma was born November 7, 1915 in Springfield, MA to the late John W. and Ruth (Lindner) Allen. She was a graduate of Classical High School and has been a resident of Monson for many years. Mrs. Berube was a member of First Church of Monson, Monson Garden Club and the Vietnam War Memorial Committee.
Mrs. Berube leaves her daughter, Linda R. Berube of Andover, MA. She was predeceased by her son, Captain Kenneth A. Berube.
A graveside service will be held, Tuesday December 2, 2014 at 1pm in Hillcrest Cemetery on Wilbraham Road in Monson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kenneth Berube '61 Prize Fund at Wilbraham-Monson Academy, 423 Main Street, Wilbraham, MA 01095. This award is given each year in honor of Kenneth Berube who was shot down by enemy gunfire in South Vietnam. Lombard Funeral Home of Monson has been entrusted with the arrangements.
