Nellie A (Cernauskas) Koslowski

Monson- Nellie A. (Cernauskas) Koslowski, 90, died Friday December 11, 2015 surrounded by the love of family. Nellie was born in Barre, Ma, April 9, 1925 to the late George and Anna (Kudzma) Cernauskas. She was a graduate of Springfield Technical Coummunity College Nursing program and was a Registered Nurse and Nursing Supervisor at Monson Developmental Center for 28 years. Nellie was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Monson, a member of the Carmalite 3rd Order, the Martha and Mary bereavement group and church choir. Nellie also enjoyed traveling throughout Europe.
Nellie was predeceased by her husband Joseph F. Koslowski in 2001. She leaves her son Richard Koslowski and Pamela Yahn of Monson; two grandsons Ethan of New Bern, NC and Samuel of Monson; and her great grandson Jace; her brother John Cernauskas of N. Brookfield; sisters Helen Hart of N. Brookfield and Barbara Pierce of N. Brookfield.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 4-7pm at Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2015 beginning at 9:00 am at the funeral home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Patrick's Church, burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery all in Monson.
