Biography
Michael G. Uliana, 63, of King St. died suddenly, January 22, 2011 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Palmer to the late Nisio "Muzzy" and Marie (LeFloch) Uliana, Mike has been a longtime resident of Monson. He is survived by his wife Anna (Surowy) Uliana and their children Peter, Christopher and his wife Kim, Melanie and fiance` David Wilcox, and Toni; his sister Madeline; brother Mark and many nieces and nephews.
Mike was a New England sports enthusiast especially fond of the Patriots and the Red Sox. He was an active member of the NRA and he found great joy hunting with his sons, daughter and friends. Mike was an honest man who cared deeply for his family and friends. Mike's Military service consisted of Navy Aviation Ordnance. He was stationed at airfields in Arizona and Florida and a tour in Vietnam on the Aircraft Carrier USS Coral Sea. He retired in 2009 from National Grid formerly Mass Electric.
