Monson- May F. (Paholko) Verlotta, 100, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015. She was born November 30, 1914 in Bronx, NY. She was a graduate of Monson High School and has lived in Monson for many years. May was employed by CF Church where she worked in the company cafeteria. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Monson and the Monson Senior Center. She had a love of gardening and crocheting, her family and her two favorite cats.
May was predeceased by her husband Anthony J. Verlotta in 1970. She leaves her daughters, Carol A. Horth and Anita J. Verlotta both of Manchester, CT and Brenda L. Walker of Monson; grandchildren, Kelly J Walker, Edward J Horth Jr. (wife Iris), Pamela L. Walker, Roselyna Rosado; great grandchildren, Roxanne, Timothy, Jordan, Alec; great great grandson, Josiah; step granddaughters, Elaine, Gloria, Jeannette; step great grandchildren, Brenda, Madeline, Renee, Angelina, Stephen Jr., Yvonne, Michael; step great great grandchildren, Jaylen,Brody, Shane and Christina.
All funeral services were private and were entrusted to Lombard Funeral Home of Monson. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 264 Cottage St. Springfield, MA 01104.
