Palmer- Mary C. (Perrot) Corbin, 80, died Wednesday, October 26, 2016 surrounded by the love of family. Mary was born in Springfield, MA, August 15, 1936 to the late Carl and Helen (Donahue) Perrot. She has lived in Palmer since 1965 and retired from Monson Developmental center after 24 years. Mary was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Palmer. Mary was seamstress by trade, she enjoyed reading, music, summers on the Cape and her beloved grandchildren.
Mary leaves her husband of 63 years, Donald L. Corbin; four sons, Jim Powers and his wife Linda of Northampton, Donald L Corbin of CT, Duane Corbin and Mark Corbin both of Palmer; two daughters, Dawn Anghalante and her husband Frederick of Palmer and Michelle Casey of Palmer; a brother, Carl Perrot of Springfield; a sister, Carlene Lempke of West Springfield; sister in-law and best friend Anne Blouin of Three Rivers; thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Steven Perrot and David Perrot.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 10 am in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1076 Thorndike St. in Palmer. Burial will be held at a later date in the family cemetery lot. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children 516 Carew Street Springfield, MA 01104.
