1918-2008
Monson- Mary E. (Sherman) Alonzo, 90, a former resident of Colonial Village died Saturday, August 23, 2008. Born in Agawam to the late Frederick and Maria (Guy) Sherman she lived in West Springfield before moving to Monson in 1960. Mary worked in the accounting department for the Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. for 30 years retiring in 1980. She was predeceased by her first husband Charles Larcher and her second husband Antonio Alonzo. She leaves her sons Raymond Larcher of Cary, NC and Michael Alonzo of Monson and her former daughter in-law Sharlene Alonzo of Monson; a brother Richard Sherman of Spencer and three grandchildren Tyler Alonzo, Leanne Larcher and Bryan Larcher. All services are private and have been entrusted to Lombard Funeral Home of Monson.
