Madeline B. (Smith) Emery, 95, died Sunday, October 24, 2010, surrounded by the love of her family. Born July 30, 1915 in West Brookfield, MA to the late Herbert and Mary (Porter) Smith, she has been a longtime Monson resident.
Madeline was pre-deceased by her husband Jesse D. Emery. She leaves her daughters Mary Linkenhoker of Monson and Martha Ledford and her husband Rodney of Evans, Georgia; a brother Stanley Smith of West Brookfield, MA; four grandchildren, Amy Little and her husband Jim, Adam Ledford and his wife Melissa, Andy Linkenhoker and his wife Keri and Amanda Linkenhoker and her fiance Fabian Morales; seven great grandchildren Justin and Jason Little, Jack Ethan, Isabella and Julianna Ledford, Allyson and AJ Linkenhoker, many nieces, nephews, her former son in-law Calvin Linkenhoker and her best friend Jane Roberts of Monson.
