Palmer- Mabel M. (DuBois) LaBelle, 97, died Monday, January 27, 2014. Born in Palmer to the late Samuel and Bertha DuBois, she lived in Monson for many years before moving to Palmer over 30 years ago. Mabel retired from Sanderson Macleod in Palmer. She was a member of the First Church of Monson and the Palmer Senior Center.
Mabel leaves her son Albert Converse of Palmer; a daughter Bertha Labelle of Chicopee; 2 grandsons and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Frederic LaBelle; a son Arthur Converse and a granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 11am in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson. A visiting hour will begin at 10am. Burial will be held in the Spring at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Palmer Senior Center 1029 Center St Palmer, MA 01069.
