Lynn Murray

Holland-Lynn A. Murray, 51, of Halfway Lane died Saturday March 21, 2009. Born in Springfield to the late Harold T. and Eleanor I. Murray, Sr., she lived in Wales, and Vermont for many years before moving to Holland. Lynn previously worked at Herlihy Barrel Co. in Holyoke. She also worked for a period of time at New England Truck Stop and Sturbridge Isle both in Sturbridge. She had a special talent for decorating for weddings, bridal and baby showers and parties. Lynn had a great love for children and had a special place in her heart for her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers Kenneth Murray and Harold Murray Jr. She leaves her brothers William Murray of Northbridge, Daniel Murray of Wales; sisters Kathy Fernot of West Dover, VT, Sharon Pfeiffer and her husband David of Wales and sister in-law Cheryl Murray of Holland, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:30am in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5-8pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children Hospital 516 Carew St. Springfield MA 01104.
