Lynn M Moore-Chase

West Orange, New Jersey- Lynn Moore Chase, 66, of West Orange New Jersey and former resident of Easthampton, MA passed on to eternal peace in the arms of Jesus on June 28th, 2017.

Lynn was born, July 26,1950 the first child of Jeanne (Swanson) Moore and Charles B. Moore. She was a 1968 graduate of Easthampton High School and attended Framingham State College. After moving to New Jersey, she worked many years as a legal secretary in the NYC area. She was an active member of the Verona United Methodist church and a Free Mason in the mixed rite of Memphis-Misraim. Lynn enjoyed gardening, music,and ice skating. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed baking for her family and friends. She had a passion for flowers and was a published poet.

Lynn is survived by her best friend and partner of 21 years, Dave Ubhaus of West Orange, NJ, sister Jo-Ann Moore of Bonner Springs,Kansas, sister Laura Moore of Columbia,MO, and brother C. Carl Moore and wife Kim of Scituate, MA. Also survived by her Aunts and Uncle, Joan Shields of Monson, MA, Darline and Lawrence Miceli of Palmer, MA and Shirley Moore of Palmer, MA.  Lynn cherished her nieces, many cousins, and extended family, and was thankful for all their love and support through some of the difficult years of her life. We will all miss her smiling face, her love for family.......and her lemon bars.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. in Monson, MA.  A visiting hour will be held from 12noon-1pm with a funeral service at 1pm in the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery also in Monson.
