Monson-Lucille "Lucy" C. (Collette) North, 65, died Wednesday, June 11, 2014 surrounded by the love of family. Born in Southbridge, MA , February 24, 1949, to the late Raymond and Lillian Collette she has been a resident of Monson since 1971. Lucy retired from Federal Paperboard in Thorndike after more than nineteen years. She enjoyed spending time with family and being outdoors.
Lucy leaves her husband of 46 years, Ronald H. North; thier son Ronald H. North, Jr. of Palmer; two brothers Ronald Collette of Southbridge, Richard Collette of Brimfield, three sisters Pauline Anger, Paullette Collette and Jackie Tamberini all of Southbridge; five grandchildren, Kevin, Kyle, Ashley, Christian and Kadyn; two great grandchildren Lilly and Taylor and many nieces and nephews. Lucy was pre-deceased by her parents and her brother Paul Collette.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Lombard Funeral Home, 3 Bridge St. in Monson. A visiting hour will begin at 10am with a funeral service at 11am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery in Palmer. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Lucy to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
