Louise C (Baxter) Fleck

Monson/ Loris, SC- Louise C (Baxter) Fleck, 62, passed away in her home Saturday May 20, 2023.  Louise was born in Grays Essex, England November 2, 1960 to the late Frederick J. and Margaret J. ( Partridge) Baxter.  She was a graduate of E. Longmeadow High School and lived in Monson where she raised her family.  Louise worked for the Monson Public School district as a bus driver, a special education assistant and then for many years she worked in the central business office.  She retired as an administrative assistant from the Teamsters Local 404. During the Summer and Fall Louise was often working at Baxter's Echo Hill Orchards while her parents owned the orchard.  Louise was always reading a good book and enjoyed tending her gardens.  Her quick wit and sense of humor always had you on your toes.  She enjoyed a quick 9 holes of golf and traveling with family and friends, often to  beach destinations.

Louise leaves her husband, Michael S. Fleck of Loris, SC; her son Mark Michael and his wife Victoria of CA; a daughter, Margaret Michael of E. Longmeadow; granddaughters, Amelia and Olivia Michael ;  sister, Sarah Baxter and her husband Barry Bedward of Monson;  brother, Nicholas Baxter and his wife Toni of Conway, SC;  niece, Amanda Watson and nephews Nick Baxter and Eric Baxter.  Louise was predeceased by her first husband Mark S. Michael and her parents, Frederick and Margaret Baxter.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, June 19 from 5-7pm in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson.
