Lorraine A. Tucker
1923-2008
Monson-Lorraine A. (Malo) Tucker, 85, of Palmer Road died Monday September 1, 2008. Born in Ware to the late Louis and Bertha (Brunelle) Malo she has been a lifelong resident of Monson. She worked for a short time for C.F. Church Co., and for many years she was a child care provider in her own home. Lorraine was a communicant of St. Patrickâs Church in Monson. She leaves her husband of more than 61 years, George A. Tucker and two sons David Tucker and his wife Maureen of Plymouth and Robert Tucker and his wife Paula of Monson. She leaves a brother (Joseph) Henry Malo of Stafford, CT and two sisters Geneva Portier of Brimfield and Anita Shunaman of Palmer; and four grandchildren Matthew, John, Brian and Samantha. Lorraine was predeceased by a daughter Margaret Ann Tucker and her siblings Rene Malo, Norman Malo, Fred Malo, Albert Malo and Jeanette Malo. Funeral services will be Friday, September 5, 2008 beginning at 9:15 from Lombard Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Patrickâs. Church and burial at Bethany Cemetery all in Monson. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4-7pm at the funeral home.
