Biography
Lila Reed Loura, 86, formerly of 158 Bumstead Road in Monson, a 30-year retired clerical worker at Jarvis East in Palmer and a part-time clerical worker at SAFE-T-CUT, Inc. in Monson for several years, died on July 5, 2013. She came from Thompsonville, CT, but lived in Monson most of her life and was a member of the Monson United Methodist Church. Lila was a generous and caring person who helped others in need. She was a constant and loving presence in the lives of her family and friends. Her husband, Truman, died April 17, 1994. She leaves three daughters, Jean Loura and her husband, Chris, Joanne Gustafson and her husband, Carl, and Judy Loura; three grandchildren, Dana Gustafson and his wife, AmyBeth, Jessica Hardwick, and Nicole Hardwick; and two great grandchildren, Grace and Aiden Gustafson.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff members of the Leeds Unit at Elaine Center at Hadley for the loving care that they provided during the past five years.
