Lee (Fountain) LaFromboise, 77, of Palmer Road, died Sunday, April 10, 2011, surrounded by the love of family. Born March 7, 1934 in Springfield to the late
Harold and Ida R. (Mascaro) LaFromboise, she has lived in Monson since 1973. For many years she worked at Thermotech but her true joy was to be at home baking or spending time with family and friends, traveling, shopping or playing bingo.
Lee leaves her husband of 58 years, George J. LaFromboise; a son David LaFromboise and his wife Sue of Belchertown; two daughters Georgia Uneegar and her husband John of Agawam and Gaylyn Gallup and her husband Ray of Stafford Springs, CT; a brother Harold Fountain Jr. of Agawam; two sisters Gail Orlandi and Marlene Lovely both of Agawam; six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Lee was pre-deceased by a granddaughter Lisa Uneegar; three sisters Grace Wiesolek, Shirley Hebert and Carol Hallock and a brother Douglas Fountain.
All funeral services are private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
