Biography
Monson-Laura A. "Zannah" Casolla, 74, died June 11, 2015, with her daughter at her side. Laura was born in Palmer to the late Herman and Laura E. (LeMay) Winter and was a graduate of Monson High School. She was a teachers assistant at the Hampden Middle school and a home health aid. Laura was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Monson. She enjoyed reading, writing short stories, drawing, theater, museums and trips to Maine.
Laura leaves a daughter Pamela M. Casolla. She was predeceased by a son Jeremy S. Casolla and her longtime companion, Edward J. Reta.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2015. A visiting hour will begin at 9am in Lombard Funeral Home, 3 Bridge St. Monson, with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Patrick's Church. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Monson Fire Department Ambulance Fund PO Box 335 or to St. Patrick's Restoration Fund Po Box 473 Monson, MA 01057.
