Monson-Kenneth A. Klisiewicz, 73, passed away on February 9, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Ken was born on May 22, 1951 in Palmer, MA. Ken was a lifelong resident of Monson.
Ken dedicated much of his professional life to the hospitality industry, serving as a former Human Resources Director of Fine Hotels in Wellesley, MA. His career was distinguished by his commitment to excellence and his ability to cultivate a positive work environment for all those he worked with. In addition to his role in human resources, he was the proud owner and operator of the Christmas Studio in Monson for over 50 years. Through his craftsmanship, he created original design ornaments that delighted customers both locally and globally.
Ken was a graduate of Monson High School, and he furthered his education by earning a Master's Degree in Psychology from Springfield College. His academic pursuits complemented his professional life and fostered a deeper understanding of human behavior that benefitted both his career and personal relationships. Ken was a beloved figure, known for his love of family, kind nature, and fun-loving spirit. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and he worked diligently to create lasting memories for those he cherished.
His legacy is carried on by his surviving family members, including his brother Richard Klisiewicz; his sister Deborah (Klisiewicz) Beyor and her husband Steven; sister-in-law Nancy (Putnam) Klisiewicz; nieces Lindsey Beyor (Dan), Sara (Klisiewicz) Slozak (Christopher), and Jessica Klisiewicz (Angelo); nephews Garrett Beyor (Ashley), Jeremy Beyor (Mary), and Dan Putnam as well as numerous great nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ken also leaves behind his long-life friends William and Susan Dominik and Maxine Jolie.Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Adella (Janulewicz) Klisiewicz; his brother, Stanley Klisiewicz and nephew Donny Putnam.
Ken's contributions to both his community and his family will be cherished and remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the dedicated doctors, nurses and staff at Baystate Medical Center.
Services are private at the convenience of the family and will be held in the Spring. Lombard Funeral Home of Monson has been entrusted with the arrangements.
