Monson-Kenneth A. “Ken” Corbett, 68, passed away after a brief illness, Friday April 5, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Ken was born in Alexandria, Virginia December 20, 1955 to the late Arthur J. and Karen V. (Hansen) Corbett. He has been a lifelong resident of Monson. Ken was a graduate of Monson High School where he excelled in athletics, especially soccer and baseball. He he was a professional truck driver most of his life. Ken was an avid softball player, playing in various softball leagues in the area. He had a love of golf and was a past member of Quaboag Country Club where he became a club champion. Ken enjoyed spending time at the beach, hiking various nature trails and had a deep love for grandchildren. He loved the Lord and enjoyed attending services. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Ken leaves the love of his life of 42 years, Christine (Bojarski) Mitchell Corbett ; children, David D. Mitchell (Rebecca), Cory Chapdelaine (Pierre/ “Rocky”), Heather Savage (Mike), Shannon Canavan (Vinnie), Jason Corbett (Melissa), Kenny Corbett (Adrian), Mary Kane (Matt); siblings, Arthur Corbett, Gene Corbett (Sue), Mark Corbett (Helen), Dennis Corbett, Glen Corbett, Cheryl Hatch, Alice Clark, Gary Corbett (Carrie Sue), Donna Lay (Gerry); fourteen grandchildren, Abygail, Emily and Benjamin Chapdelaine, Taylor, Megan, Luke and Seth Mitchell, Natalie Jordan, Mia Canavan, Isabella Cortez, (Nehemiah) Isaac, Ian and Amelia Corbett, and Nicco Alves as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and his dog “Brady”. Ken was predeceased by his siblings, Dotty Cohen, Douglas Corbett and sister in-law, Dawn Corbett.

Services have been entrusted to Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St in Monson. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home, Monday April 15, 2024 from 5-8pm. A funeral service will be held Tuesday April 16, 2024 at 11:00am at the Evangel Assembly of God 348 Stony Hill Road Wilbraham, MA 01095. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Baystate Hospice 30 Capital Drive West Springfield, MA 01089.
