Biography

Palmer- Kathryn M. "Teddy" Church, 71, of Beacon Drive, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Born in Dorchester, MA to the late Willis A. and Katherine M. (Nickerson) Church, she resided in Monson for many years before moving to Palmer in the year 2000. Kathryn was a certified nurses aid and worked at Wing Memorial Hospital and several area nursing homes before she retired in 1998. She was a member of the Monson Unitarian-Universalist Parish. Teddy enjoyed ceramics, cooking music and she collected clowns.

Kathryn was predeceased by her parents; her twin brothers William and Willis A. Church, Jr. and her brother in-law Kenneth Wright. She leaves her brothers Robert M. Church and his wife Susan of Monson, Charles J. Church and his wife June of Florida; her sister Geraldine J. Wright of Monson and sister in-law Chieko Church of Oklahoma as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends in Monson and at Green Estates in Palmer.


Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 17, 2012 at 10 am in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery also in Monson. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wing VNA and Hospice 40 Wright St. Palmer, MA 01069.
