Palmer- Joseph G. Poulin, 83, passed away on May 25, 2024, in Palmer, MA, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born in Monson MA, on July 9, 1940 to the late William and Una (Chabot) Poulin.
After attending Monson High School, Joseph served in the Navy. Following his military service, he pursued a successful career employed as a Diesel Mechanic with Penske Trucking. In his leisure time, Joseph indulged in his passion for Nascar, finding joy and relaxation in the thrill of the races.
Joseph is survived by his son Todd A. Poulin of Brimfield, daughter Lorrie A. Poulin of Palmer, daughter Rebecca J. Jerome and husband Danny of Palmer, honorary son Scott Poulin of Wilbraham, sister Claire Rounds of CT, sister-in-law Marrion Poulin of Hampden, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers William, Dwight, John, Thomas, and Charles and sisters Frances, Marjorie and Mary Poulin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Milltown Animal Control 125 Palmer Road, Monson, MA 01057.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 2:00pm at Bethany Cemetery, located in Monson.
