Joseph Densmore

Joseph S. Densmore, 25, died October 7, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with an illness. Born in Northampton, June 14, 1984 to Dennis Densmore and Christine (Cortis) Druckenmiller. He was a longtime resident of Monson before moving to Wilbraham 2 years ago. Joe was a graduate of Monson High School class of 2002 and a graduate of UMASS with a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering in 2009. He was an Eagle Scout, a member of the National Honor Society and a member of the First Church of Monson. He was an assistant Scout Leader for Boy Scout Troop #776. Joe had a love of the outdoors, camping, fishing, travel, golf, music and spending time with family.
He leaves his mother Christine (Cortis) Druckenmiller and step-father Alan Druckenmiller of Wilbraham; brothers, Jason Densmore, Kegan Druckenmiller; sisters, Jessica Falkenhagen, Samantha Druckenmiller; godson, Kyler Falkenhagen; nephew Jackson Falkenhagen; stepbrothers Ross and Keith Druckenmiller; stepsister Amy Druckenmiller, grandparents Roy and Lyle Miller; grandmother, Dorothy Densmore; stepgrandparents Wayne and Margie Druckenmiller. Joe was predeceased by his father Dennis Densmore and grandfather Loren Densmore.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 14, 2009 at 10am in the First Church of Monson Congregational located on High St., burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery both in Monson. Visiting hours will be Tuesday at Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St Monson from 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Children's Inn at NIH 7 West Drive Bethesda, MD 20814-1509.
