Monson-John M. Kearns, 46, died suddenly Friday, February 13, 2015. John was born in New York, NY, August 24, 1968 to Harold J and Lillian S.(Vacula) Kearns. He has been a resident of Monson for many years. John was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Monson and he worked for Notch Mechanical as a commercial plumber. John enjoyed taking his children to the Bronx, especially the zoo and enjoyed showing them where he grew up. John also loved his dogs and all animals.
John leaves his children; Allyson Kearns, Russell Kearns, Chelsea Fountain and Haley Fountain; mother of his children Stacey Dill, all of Monson; his mother, Lillian S. Kearns; two brothers, Dwight Kearns and Brian Kearns; a sister, Mary Kearns; nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his father Harold J. Kearns.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday February 22 from 1-4pm in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 23, 2015 beginning at 9am at Lombard Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Patrick's Church. Burial will take place at Bethany Cemetery in the Spring.
