John John Sr

Monson-John G. Robert, Sr., 73, of Crow Hill Rd. died Saturday, February 21, 2009 surrounded by the love of his family. Born in St. Albans, VT to the late Albany and Yvette(Gamache) Robert, he grew up in Palmer and has resided in Monson since 1963. John was an avid outdoorsman and especially loved hunting. He was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Monson. A loving father and husband he leaves his wife of over 24 years Jane H. (Furgal) Robert, his children John G. Robert, Jr. of Monson, Michael A. Robert of Belchertown, Donna Graveline of W. Brookfield, Jacalyn Santucci of Three Rivers, Nancy Plant of Belchertown and Tracy Robert of Palmer; step-children James R. Finnegan, Daniel J. Finnegan, Sean M. Finnegan all of Monson, Connie Finnegan of Hampden, Kathleen Finnegan of Palmer and Mary Cardaropoli of Springfield and 18 grandchildren. He also leaves his precious Mimi. John was pre-deceased by his brother George Robert in 1987. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, February 25 from 5-8pm, at Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 26th, beginning at 9am from Lombard Funeral Home with Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Patrick’s Church and burial at Bethany Cemetery, all in Monson.
