Biography
Jessie F. Coolong, 72, of King Ave, died Wednesday, September 1, 2010 in Palmer. Born September 19, 1937 in Springfield to the late Charles T. and Jessie (Thompson) Coolong Sr. she was a Monson High School graduate and longtime resident here. She was a supervisor of patient care at Monson Developmental Center for many years. Jessie was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church and active at the Monson Senior Center. She was a former member of the Monson Arts Council and enjoyed participating in the the play the "Hobbit" and also the play "Feather in Her Cap" written by her sister Phyllis.
Jessie leaves her daughter Beth Sweryda and her husband Eric of Monson; three grandchildren Charles, Jesse and Scott Sweryda all of Monson; a sister Phyllis Hull of Monson and a brother Richard Coolong of Florida as well as many nieces and nephews.
