Monson-Jennie M. (Staback) Young, 84, of Palmer Rd died Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Lifecare Center of Wilbraham. Born in Palmer to the late Jacob and Tekla Staback, she has been a longtime resident of Monson. She was the owner/operator of Jennieâs Diner in Palmer for 20 years and then retired from Monson Developmental Center. Jennie was a communicant of St. Patrickâs Church and she enjoyed arts and crafts. She was predeceased by her 8 siblings. Jennie leaves her loving daughters Brenda Lovell and her companion Ron Hess, Deborah Young and her companion Walter Lech, and Judith Harris and her husband Bruce all of Monson. Three grandchildren Laurie Provost, Tammy Lovell and Michelle Paul, and 6 great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, November 6, 2008 from 4-7pm at Lombard Funeral Home. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Monson Fire Department Ambulance Fund PO Box 335 Monson, MA 01057.
