Janet E (Davis) Griffin

Monson-Janet E. (Davis) Griffin, 69, died Monday, April 25, 2016. Janet was born September 20, 1946 in Hackensack, NJ to the late Paul and Anna (Arnold) Davis. She was a graduate of Modern College of Beauty Culture and was a hairdresser for many years owning her own salon. She operated Kountry Kurls and Kuts in Stafford Springs, Ct for 25 years. She also was an instructor at LaBarone Academy for a period of time. Janet attended Crossway Christian Church in Palmer, where she played the keyboard and sang in the choir. She enjoyed camping, boating and fishing.
Janet was predeceased by her husband Richard J. Griffin in 2014 and her sister Betty Lou O'shea. She leaves her son James P. Griffin of Monson.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 5-8pm in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson. A graveside service will be Friday April 29, 2016 at 1pm in Hillcrest Cemetery in Monson.
