James F. Mulloy, 84, of Monson, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Springfield on June 12, 1937 to the late Frank and Dorothy (Supernor) Mulloy. James worked as a truck driver for many years, retiring in 1997 from Consolidated Freightways in Chicopee. After retirement, James enjoyed driving part time and summers at LJR and Samek Trucking, both in Monson. He loved hunting, fishing, and traveling. James showed his horsemanship through his love of horses. He rode many pleasure trail rides all over New England.
James also enjoyed country music, especially anyone named “Hank”. Above everything else, James loved and adored his family.
Along with his parents, James was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Joan G. (Cuoco) Mulloy, on March 9, 2021, and his sister, Dolores Locke. He leaves his four loving children, Linda Conant and her husband Randy, and Marlene Murphy and her husband Jim, James J. Mulloy and his wife Shari, and Patrick Mulloy and his wife Sherry; two sisters, Barbara Mantovani and MaryAnn Surridge; his four grandchildren, Justin Conant and his wife Amy Wilson, Jessie Otto and her husband Eric, Rhiannon Rhodes and her husband Christopher, and Ryan Mulloy and his wife Amber; and two great grandchildren.
