James W Brandt

Monson- James W. Brandt, 78, passed away December 4, 2021.  James was born to Rudolph R and Myrtle D. Brandt, January 11, 1943.  He was a high school and college graduate. Jim served as an officer  in the US Army and was honorably discharged.  For many years he has lived in Monson.  Jim retired from being a social worker and adult therapist for disabled adults with ARC. He loved animals, both domestic and wild.  He would have many visitors from the wood including deer, turkeys, rabbits and  bear.  Jim enjoyed all types of cars, especially classic cars and for many years he showed his 1959 Ford Fairlane.

He leaves three nephews; Jon Brandt, Jr, Jeff Brandt and James Brandt, three nieces; Julie Serrano, Joana Whittingham and Jennifer Lopez.  James was predeceased by his brother, Jon Brandt and his parents.

A private burial with Military Honors will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Fitchburg.
