Biography
Ludlow- Isabelle M (Cooke) Mathieu, 75, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, March 11, 2015 surrounded by the love of family. Isabelle was born March 2, 1940 in Waverly, NY to the late William W. and Saddie V. (Duran) Cooke. For many years Isabelle worked in the Springfield School system cafeteria. She later worked at Monson Developmental Center as a patient aid. Isabelle was a member of the First Church of Monson; a volunteer at the Monson Senior Center and a volunteer for the Angel Food program
Isabelle was pre-deceased by her husband Victor E. Mathieu in 1988. She leaves her daughters, Verna M. Nicklson of Springfield, Cynthia M. Nugent of Ludlow, Vivian M. Asselin of Westfield and Elizabeth M. Sieracki of Ludlow; grandchildren Melissa and her husband Nathan, Richard, Kimberly, Joseph and Sean; great granddaughters Mackenzie and Katelynn and her grandpups.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson. Visiting hours will be 9:30-11:30 am with a funeral service at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Church of Monson 5 High St. Monson, MA 01057.
